How to Donate


Donating Merchandise…

The success of our ReStore depends on your donations. We are accepting donations of gently used furniture, appliances, surplus building materials and home furnishings.

truck Pick Up: Please contact us if you are interested in our free pick-up service. We also accept donations at the store during store hours. If you have heavy items to drop off, please contact us ahead of time to make sure we have someone here at the ReStore that can assist you.

Items we take:


  • Bureaus, Dressers
  • Hutches if small or with a set
  • Clothes armoires
  • Beds (King/Queen/Full)
  • Beds (twin) – if new or with set
  • Bed frames
  • Trundle beds with frames
  • Bookcases
  • Chairs (sets of 4 or more)
  • Coffee tables
  • Desks (no large. No press board or particle board)
  • End tables, Night tables
  • Futons – mattresses must be free of rips & stains
  • Outdoor furniture
  • Tables – dining room single or sets – wood
  • Upholstered furniture – No rips, stains, or fading
  • Sofa tables, Servers, Dry Sinks
  • Youth furniture
    Appliances (Electric, 10 years old, or less)

  • Electric Stoves
  • Refrigerators
  • Washers/Dryers
  • Dishwashers after January 2014
  • Air Conditioners, Microwaves, Dehumidifiers)
    Building Materials

  • Kitchen Cabinets & Sets
  • Bathroom Vanities
  • Doors
  • Windows
  • Hardware
  • Sliders, 5’ new and used, 6’ used and new – 8’ new only
  • French doors
  • Sashes – old & wooden only
  • Unopened boxes of nails/screws


  • Table lamps
  • Ceiling lights
  • Chandeliers

  • Flooring in a box, at least 100 sq. ft., no damaged pieces
  • Rugs in good condition – no stains, rips, or fading. Smoke and bug free
  • Bound carpets – no stains, rips, or fading. Smoke and bug free


  • Cast iron sinks
  • Pedestal sinks
  • Sinks included with bathroom vanities


  • Hand, Power, Bench, & Garden)- Must be functional
  • Also: Lawn Mowers, Generators, Vacuum Cleaners, Snow Blowers


  • Blinds -only if new in a box
  • Bikes
  • Surfboards
  • Small boats (Canoes, Kayaks, Sail)





    Items we don’t take:


  • Twin Beds unless with set
  • Chairs – single wood
  • Desks that are Large – or particle board
  • Gas appliances (unless very high end)
  • Headboards – single (consider Queens)
  • Hutches if large and is not part of a set
  • Insulation (used)
  • Laminate Furniture – tables, desks, etc
  • Particle Board Furniture
  • Upholstered Furniture that has rips, faded,
    stains, cat scratches
  • Rocking Chairs – Generic
  • Sleeper Sofas
