During Habitat on the Hill, new and seasoned advocates meet face to face with members of Congress to share how housing promotes security, stability, and self-reliance in communities and across the county and to call for policies that ensure more people have a decent place to call home. Attendees hear from inspiring speakers and attend workshops that equip them with the skills to effectively advocate for smart housing policies at every level of government. The 2020 conference will be an important time to encourage Congress and our administration to prioritize safe and decent housing for people of all levels of income across America. This engaging event is also a key opportunity to meet advocacy leaders throughout Habitat affiliates, state support organizations, campus chapters, and others.
