We accept donations of new and used merchandise in excellent condition. ReStore sales income supports Habitat’s mission and work here on Cape Cod! We reserve the right to decline some offerings in advance or upon viewing; we do not accept mattresses, box springs or sleeper sofas.
Donations may be dropped off at the ReStores, Monday thru Saturday from 9 - 4:30 (due to unforeseen circumstances that may arise, ReStore donation centers may be closed to accepting drop offs on any given day; it is recommended to call first).

items we may accept
Upholstered Furniture
Must be in excellent condition, and free of smells, stains, tears, excessive wear, and animal smells or damage. We do NOT accept sofa beds, mattresses or box springs.
Appliances
Electric appliances must be 10 years old or less, clean and in good working condition (gas appliances & dishwashers must be less than 5 years old) Fixtures (toilets, showers, water-heaters, boilers) must be new and in unused condition
Wooden Furniture
Must be free of significant stains, cracks, peeling or damaged finishes, excessive wear or animal damage We do NOT accept particle board finishes.
Building Materials & Flooring
Building materials must be in excellent condition, with no rotted wood, broken glass or peeling paint. Flooring must be unused and have a minimum of 100 sq. ft. Rugs must be clean and free of stains, tears, fading, and pet damage.
Cabinets
We accept both kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Cabinets must be in excellent condition, with no rotted wood, broken glass or peeling paint. Please see our Cabinet Removal Program
Lighting & Art
Lighting must be complete, in working order and in excellent condition. We do not accept fluorescent lights. Artwork must be in excellent condition with no cracks in glass or frames.
All donations must be inspected before being accepted. HHCC reserves the right to refuse any Item or make exceptions to this list
items we will not accept
baby furniture or baby items, bedding, blinds, box springs, household linens, ladders (used), light bulbs (used, halogen or fluorescent), mattresses, sofa beds, clothing, televisions, computers, printers, open or partially used items of any sort, kitchen-ware, glassware, pots & pans, medical equipment or supplies, single-pane glass, solvents, cleaning fluids, & strippers, toilets (used), wallpaper
